Requests for new prescriptions, refill authorizations and other pertinent patient information can be sent via IBM’s Global Network to vast numbers of interacting clinics and pharmacies. Provided high-level consultation, user interface and programming support to ensure all ASSEMBLER LANGUAGE, TPFDF, and COBOL programs contained on the mainframe system interacted properly with the UNIX based PRESCRIBE system.

Major conversion effort was to combine 3 Freight City Code Tables into a centralized City Code Table to improve utilization and reduce redundancy costs. All programs were written in ASSEMBLER LANGUAGE, TPFDB, and SABRETALK.
